The mid-sized Socorro SW is a versatile reel for multi-species saltwater anglers fi shing with lures, jigs or bait, from both the shore or a boat. Featuring a super tough Hagane Gear and X-Ship gearing, the cranking power and smoothness of this model is remarkable for the low cost. Fitted with a waterproof cross carbon drag that applies up to 12kg of force, and powerful gear ratios ranging from 4.6:1 to 4.9:1 the Socorro SW is a superb saltwater game fi shing reel. For anglers using the more expensive Shimano saltwater reels the Socorro makes a very cost effective back-up or second rod reel.
